We stayed 2 nights in a cabin the fancier kind. It was nice and I got an end of season deal. I loved the little balcony. I would have given it 5 stars but they had an envelope to tip the cleaning staff and there was dust bunnies behind to doors and the bed. It looked like it had not been cleaned properly all year. I am not a fussy person but I thought it was funny they were asking us to tip out a half ass cleaning person. Or maybe you are supposed to tip them so they would do a better job cleaning? But whatever-it was still sanitary- the kitchenette and bathroom were clean. The little restaurant on site had some pretty good and cheap breakfast offerings. We sat at the counter and had a nice bite. I would recommend this place it was kitchy and weird, it has a Carousel in a housing, a small ferris wheel and a pool which was closed. I like strange stuff like that and am saddened that because of the wedding we were there attending I did not get to ride on such.

Love this place!!! This will be our second year staying here and we are really looking forward to it. We stay in the family lodge every October. Cabins are very clean and have everything you will need to prepare meals. Tons of activities for the kids from arts and crafts, trick or treating, games, hay rides and lots more. Well worth a trip in the middle of nowhere.

TOTALLY a money trap, they prey on families, especially families with more then 2 kids. the amusement park was overpriced , it was understaffed. Our site was littered with rusty metal scrap, screws and aluminum shards. I am amazed they have such a high rating with Woodalls, In the real world its totally overated. We were there on a busy weekend and I really think the campground was overwhelmed. As for being a family friendly place, yeah bring your pocketbook... don't let the website and pictures fool you... yeah they have a movie theater, wagon ride, etc but when they are actually operational or having events is another story. for all the "stuff" they have our family was pretty bored and went to sightsee thing in the area. The pool was crowded. The staff... meh, if you could find them you probably wouldn't be impressed either with how they handled themselves. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone to camp/visit. Save your money and go to a real family oriented place that doesn't charge you for your children or consider them "extra"... $$$$ chaaaching

have to give 3stars and that may be too many.you decide .1) swimming pool has 2 slides.kiddie pool water slide only turned on, on Fridays.really? there were 18 kids in pool on Wednesday without water for the slide. Cut corners somewhere else. 2) Horrible internet service .3)The rides that are offered and the movie theater there is only on Fridays. Really? This is summer time not October.Open up the attractions you have available .Makes no sense other than cutting corners.

We are driving home after a 3-night stay in one of their cabins. We were there with several other families, and we all can't wait to go back next year. The cabins were so much nicer than I expected. We brought sheets, towels, paper towels, TP... but they were all supplied. There's a coffee pot and enough glasses, dishes, and place settings for 4, but I'll be bringing larger coffee mugs next time. I thought we'd end up having to go out to eat, but we had no trouble storing food (there's a small fridge in the cabin, and we had coolers) and cooking on their grills. Make sure you bring grill utensils (spatula, tongs) though. We had a charcoal fire starter with us, which made starting the charcoal easy. There are some critters around, which we realized this morning when we came out to see a skunk relishing in the mess he made of the trash bag we left outside overnight (oops). The kids LOVED the pool and the arcade. The workers were all incredibly nice, going out of their way to ensure our kids were happy and having fun. Knoebels was a nice day trip and not too far. My husband was excited to see a disc golf course, but it's a doozy -- kept having to retrieve our frisbees in the woods. I would highly recommend this place!

My husband and I stayed here with our two dogs for a week. Twin Grove is one of the few campgrounds on the eastern side of Pennsylvania that has running water in early April--but that's not all they had! The campground itself is huge with a good number of pull-through and back-in spots for RVs and a large number of cabin for rent. The location is conveniently off of Interstates 81 and 78 and it's set back just enough that you don't hear a whole ton of traffic when you're trying to relax. My only advice is that if you are going to stay for more than a couple of nights, hit up the the grocery stores in Lebanon before you arrive because it's quite the trek into town for real groceries. There is what appears to be a full amusement park for families to keep their children entertained. Whether it costs extra or not, the sheer number of activities is enough to keep most kids busy and that should keep most parents happy. This includes a few playgrounds, a carousel, a pool with a water slide, an ice cream parlor, and many other activities. The bath facilities were warm and clean, but the showers fell short of even standard expectations with painful water pressure, very dark lighting, and faucet fixtures that were hard to turn off, on, and set temperatures. The laundry room was clean and the machines were in good working order. The number one reason why we are likely to return time and time again, though, are the two massive fenced dog parks they have available for their furry campers. The wifi was excellent for a campground and while it wasn't as fast as a private connection, it was very good for the standard working adult to keep up with the goings-on at the office. Verizon cell phone reception was also excellent in the area. Overall, we had a great stay and will be back for another week the next time we pass through!

One of my favorite campgrounds! I love the amenities. Restrooms are clean. Restaurant serves alcohol. Dog park is awesome. Love it.

I like that a three star rating on Yelp is termed as "A-OK". Seems appropriate for the KOA, eh? Well, I'll give it 4 stars, so long as you know we're rating a KOA campground. How I ended up at this particular KOA in the middle of no where is a story for another time. We stayed in one of the little cabins and sort of exceeded the capacity so I actually slept on the porch. The entire place including the nearby bath house was nice and clean. They have a large dining facility with a bar, store, and more. Aside from cabins they have tent sites and trailer hookups. I have done a lot of backpacking. So a few nights at a KOA aren't what I would consider roughing it in the outdoors. But if you don't want to get in too deep this might be right up your alley.

The best! The sites are huge, the view of the mountains gorgeous. There is something for everyone from movies to carnival like rides to ice cream socials, crafts and a wonderful staff to make it all work.

Well the positive campground was clean and well maintained... Pool and common areas were great... The camp store was well stocked and had great prices ... Negatives.. Restaurant served/reheated snack bar type food.. Prices are somewhat high for what you get... We ended up getting a deluxe cabin.. Creaky is a understatement.. ... Also the cabin could have been cleaner

Not a bad campground. We stayed in a site right next to a cabin with some other family. We were here in the middle of the week, at the beginning of Jul. not very crowded, but also seemed a bit short handed on staff. Most everything was run by teenagers, except for the woman behind the counter in the arcade and the man running the rides. Being a weekday, the rides were only open from 5-9, and the guy just went from one to another, there wasn't two rides open at the same time. The mini golf course could use some TLC!!! The pool was a big hit with the kids!!! The site had ample room, and I really liked the "loop" we were in. The wooden train "playground" could use some TLC as well (loose boards and nails sticking out).

We stayed here for three days in a popup. This is the best campground that we have ever stayed in. The spaces are big and you do not feel like you are on top of other camp sites. The bathrooms are very clean. The staff is helpful. The prices in the camp store are reasonable. The quiet hours are from 11 pm until 8 am and clearly people obeyed them. There are a lot of activities for kids her. If I could make one minor suggestion for improvement, it would be that they create some type of recycling program. Currently there is none. That, however is about the only fault that I could find with the campground. This is a great place to stay and we cannot wait to come back.

The ONLY reason it gets two stars is because the camp ground was clean and well kept. However, the management is a joke. The morning we were to leave for the campground for a family reunion my father unexpectedly passed away (he and my mother had rented one of the cabins). After multiple calls and 2 days I finally was able to reach someone (who sounded like a very young girl). She stated she would speak to the manager and call me back. The young girl called back stating they would not be giving any sort of refund because this sort of thing "happens all the time". I asked to have the manager call directly (rather than having the teen do her dirty work) and never did receive a call. The rest of the family still came to the camp ground and when we got there the place was empty (not too busy that a manager couldn't call back) and indeed a teenager was running the place. The kids that seemed to run the place were very sweet but every adult employee I encountered throughout the campground was extremely rude (not the manager mind you because she hid up in the loft the entire time) The kids had fun at the arcade and riding the rides and it was served the purpose to get together as a family, however, there are MANY other places run much more professionally than this in the area.
